Through work with South Eastern Regional College in Bangor, Lisburn and Downpatrick, John facilitated the training of volunteers and production of content on community radio stations Lisburn’s 98FM, Bangor FM, and FM105 in Downpatrick. This includes production of arts and culture podcast Lisburn’s Art Space.
John also delivered My Radio Project to over 100 students in subjects including Art & Design, Beauty Therapy, Hairdressing, Media, Music and Performing Arts. This 8-week employability certificate aims to boost the confidence and communications skills of students through training in as-live radio presenting, script-writing and project management.
